At Cohen Medical Consulting, our goal is to help you and your attorney understand whether the medical treatment you received was up to standard. We also evaluate your injuries to see if a breach of the of standard of care was responsible for the injuries which you suffered. We work to secure proper exhibits and demonstrative evidence for presentation at trial. We frequently attend the trial and help throughout the trial to prepare didactic trial jury education we help with cross examinations of the defense experts. For example, if you had surgery and had an unexpected outcome that has caused you disability or suffering, we will evaluate your records, meet with you, and let you know whether your treatment was below the standard of care. If you decide to pursue legal action, we will help you identify qualified attorneys and will assist those attorneys in obtaining monetary compensation. If you feel that you were misdiagnosed and did not receive the proper care, we will assess how the doctor came to the diagnosis and whether the diagnosis was proper. We will then advise you on whether there was a deviation from the standard of care for which you may seek compensation damages.
